July 4 - McCook

Today we crossed another state line, two actually. About ten miles into our drive we crossed into Nebraska. Once in Nebraska we took a little detour of about .8 miles to visit the Kansas border as well. Technically I have now visited Kansas, but I'm not sure if it counts.

Today was just a really upbeat day. I felt like we were moving along really quickly. Attitudes were generally positive at my stop.

Once in McCook we had some free time, and I took Reed to Walmart to get a prescription filled. While there I purchased some sparklers to enjoy later in the day.

When we got back from Walmart dinner had already started. I will say the the strawberry lemonade that accompanied dinner was amazing!

After dinner we had a crew meeting to discuss team improvements again. We addressed concerns that we have, and tried to find solutions.

We then went out to the fair grounds to enjoy the city firework show. It was about 30 minutes, and was quite enjoyable! After the show we played with my sparklers, and shot off some personal fireworks.
