June 6

Today was our practice ride, and it was nerve wracking. It is really stressful trying to follow directions mark turns and communicate with the rest of the crew. In the end we had a really successful ride, and we didn't lose our cyclists which is good. I can't wait to be out the the city in a less confusing area for a while.

After the practice ride we headed to this cool "club house" and had pizza that a sponsor brought for us. The cyclist had some time to relax, swim in the adjacent pool, and hangout. Meanwhile the crew had to go and scout out tomorrow's ride.

After scouting the ride we headed to the kickoff dinner where some parents were. There were some speeches from leadership like the director of logistics and out CEO.

We then headed back to Oakland and started getting ready for tomorrow.

Mae kickoff tomorrow at 7:00 am.
