June 20 - Salt Lake City

Today was our free day in Salr Lake City! Free day is a bit of a misnomer, as we did still have stuff to do, but we did get to sleep in until eight!

We started off the day with a hot breakfast of pancakes and bacon! Then seemingly immediately after we had diner with the children's tumor foundation, and hung out with Travis a kid with a tumor in about half his body. He was really energetic, and into race cars. We "raced" around the gym with him for a few hours after we ate. It was really inspiring to see him living such a good life!

We then headed downtown to check out the Morman Temple. It was pretty amazing especially for something build more than 150 years ago. It was also funny to hear the guys from the east asking so many questions about Mormans, since they are not in the east as prominently.

After the temple we headed to dinner, and checked out a chalk art festival that was going on downtown. It was pretty amazing how detailed the art was!
